Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and adorable characters. Adams was born and lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest child of seven. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. She began dancing and acting professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined the regional theater in Minnesota in which she was featured as a character in a film mock documentary about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her move into Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with a good-natured but snarky contestant. Between June 1951 and September of 1962, she got married to actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis.
