Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is best known for her films roles, including Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) and as Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) as well as for her role with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish received the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and a host of other movies was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. With the love and encouragement from her parents made the choice to study acting an easy choice for the younger Betty Gilpin. Fordham College became her choice for her college as it allowed her to develop and develop the abilities she would need to become an professional actress. After graduation Gilpin started acting in off-Broadway productions while submitting auditions for TV and film roles. Gilpin landed a small performance for herself in Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). In addition, she appeared on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent from 2001-2011. Gilpin gained a lot of TV experience in the following seasons, mostly through appearances in guest roles. Her first major break when she landed Nurse Jackie's role as a regular on the show in 2013. Gilpin, as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, played in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie until the series concluded on June 15 2015. Gilpin has also been seen in the thriller mystery True Story (2015).
