Alison Sudol
It was difficult to accept the feminine side of the field I was thinking was very masculine. I found it hard to accept, "Okay I can be confident, feminine, and gentle. Take care of yourself and not diminish myself." The experience was one I enjoyed tremendously. I loved the heels with a dress everyday as well as the soft material. This was extremely stressful as I'm not as old as the other actors [in Fantastic Beasts]; there is plenty of stress. But during the auditions, I got this weird feeling there was a huge pressure in front of me. Or, I could crumble to the ground and sink since I was so desperate to do it. It was also possible to get into the air and let it move me forward. A day spent in museums caf s, parks, or even taking walks and looking at the crowds is something that I really enjoy. In LA there is a possibility of being isolated, but in London you can ride the Tube and find yourself at the center of the crowd and everyone which you can think of is passing through. I am a fan of watching the people around me. In the music industry there is a constant presence of males. You feel as if you must be engaged with people all day long. It's an amazing real-life dream for me. I read all of the books. It was wonderful having the opportunity to study the books on tour. The cities are constantly shifting which can make it hard to concentrate. To be able to disappear into such an intense and vivid world in the comfort of your bed is truly amazing.
