Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5 in 1971) was the oldest among seven children who were raised by her parents at their farms in New Franklin Missouri. Sara Lynn Evans has been performing in the family band since she was 5 years old. In the nightclub in Columbia Missouri, she started singing when she was just at the age of 16. It lasted 2 years. She hoped to be an artist from the country genre. So, in 1991, she moved from Kansas City Missouri in the state of Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. Evans recorded Three Chords and the Truth in 1997. Reviewers praised the album as returning to traditional country and ranked it in many of their top ten of the year lists. Her performance was recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Academy Award. Her career began in feature films, but later moved into television and enjoyed great successes.
